Based on Vripack's long-promoted Doggersbank model, the Defender is a new yacht designed by the Dutch design studio.

The Defender is a 98-foot yacht developed by Vripack for Alia Yachts in Turkey, which will be used both for long-distance exploration and weekend sailing.

There is a high, flared bow on the Defender and its exterior has a gray steel hull and bare metallic details that Vripack calls "muscular and military in style."

A hardtop and a wraparound windscreen protect the flybridge and the main deck, which feature dining and lounging areas. Combined with a towed tender, toys can also be launched from a crane up top.

According to Vripack, the aft terraces fold down to prevent slapping waves at anchor. Nearly 12 feet of space can be devoted to relaxation on the terraces.

Throughout the interior, an open-plan layout is combined with extensive use of wood, LED lighting for a soft glow, and wood throughout the walls.

What kind of accommodations are available for overnight stays? Two twin berth guest staterooms and a VIP stateroom are available on the Defender. A crew cabin and a guest cabin are also available.
