During the 100,000th auction on the online platform, Randy Nonnenberg plans to put his own car up for auction, in celebration of the platform's 100th anniversary, as part of the campaign.

Whenever you hear the news that there is a 100,000th car that has been added to Bring a Trailer, it is an occasion to celebrate. Though, the car may not be what you had expected when you first heard the news.

In celebration of the success of the popular online platform, Randy Nonnenberg, the co-founder and president, will be auctioning off his 1973 Datsun 240Z to honor his achievement. With regards to the exterior, this neon-colored coupé is one of the most beautiful Japanese sports cars that is currently available. It has been very well maintained, and it appears to have been maintained very well.

It was acquired by Nonnenberg in 2018, 11 years after he and Gentry Underwood founded BaT and were first able to purchase this 240Z, which was originally purchased in December 1972. Rob Fuller, the owner of Z Car Garage Inc., maintains the car, which has become closely associated with the company, appearing at special events and even taking part in rallying events.

Additionally, as part of this sale, the platform is able to contribute to the community as well, as the Piston Foundation, a group that supports young people who are interested in pursuing careers in the automotive industry, will receive all the proceeds from this sale. The Piston Foundation helps these young people to achieve their goals.

“We chose [to auction] our 240Z not only because it has served as a mascot for our brand over the past several years of growth, but also because it highlights the roots of the company,” Nonnenberg said in a statement. “It’s the type of diverse, eye-catching, modified vehicle that the BaT community loves to see.”

However, as per Rich Report, this car is still noteworthy in spite of not being equipped with any background information about it. The car has recently been repainted a stunning lime green and rides on 16-inch Panasport wheels with Michelin tires. Featuring a 2.7-liter straight-six engine and a five-speed manual transmission, Rebello Racing's car has three Weber carbs and is equipped with a 2.7-liter straight-six engine.

There is also a limited-slip differential, four-wheel disc brakes, and a limited-slip differential on this car, in addition to its lowered suspension. In spite of the fact that it is not stated what performance specs the sports car is capable of, it seems fairly safe to assume that the sports car is capable of more than just showing off.

Earlier this weekend, BaT's 240Z was announced for auction. The auction will be open until Saturday, March 31 and the car, unsurprisingly, has already attracted a lot of interest: Currently, the bidding has reached $104,240, which is about the average bid for this year's model.
