This month, Disney has released new details on The Villas at Disneyland Hotel, scheduled for opening in September, as well as never-before-seen renderings by Disney artists.
A press release from Disney states that the new tower will combine timeless Walt Disney Animation Studios classics with contemporary designs, capturing the essence of the Walt Disney Film Studios and immersing guests in the creative storytelling process, and will join the existing Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim, California.
Disney Vacation Club members will be able to book early on March 15, and Disneyland Magic Key holders will be able to book early on March 16. It is anticipated that reservations will open to the general public on March 17.
There are just steps from both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park that are destined to be the Villas at Disneyland Hotel, where you will find a wide variety of themed accommodations as well as amenities just like at home with a touch of magic sprinkled throughout.”
Among the room types available will be duo studios, deluxe studios, one-bedroom, two-bedroom villas, and multilevel grand villas with a wide range of furnishings that include fully equipped kitchens, dining rooms, living rooms, and outdoor balconies.
It is anticipated that each room, with its furnishings, design, and artwork reflective of each theme, will be inspired by classic Disney animated films, such as "Fantasia," "The Princess and the Frog," "The Jungle Book," and "Sleeping Beauty."
Guests are invited to stay in our duo studios themed after The Jungle Book, which sleep two people and come equipped with a split bathroom, wall-mounted television, and a queen-size bed.
Featuring either a "Sleeping Beauty" or a "Princess and the Frog" theme, the Deluxe Studios offer a fully-equipped kitchenette, a split bathroom, as well as two queen-size beds for up to four guests.
Each of the villas will be a one- or two-bedroom home, which will have a living room and a full kitchen and will be themed either to "Fantasia" or "The Princess and the Frog." The villas will also come with a washer and dryer, living areas, and a full bathroom.
The three-bedroom, multi-leveled villa can accommodate up to twelve guests and features a full-size kitchen, a large dining room table, and a spacious living room that can accommodate many guests at the same time. It is expected that the grand villa will include a private outdoor balcony with a fireplace that can be enjoyed from both sides.
In addition to the new pool area, an updated pool bar, and a state-of-the-art fitness center, guests will have access to a new pool area at The Villas at Disneyland Hotel when it opens.
