The 'Scrubs' alum Donald Faison has bought a private French provincial estate

A spacious home in Tarzana's foothills has been purchased by actor and comedian Donald Faison and his longtime wife, CaCee Cobb. According to records, the couple paid around $230,000 over asking for the two-story residence, which features everything from a speakeasy-style library/theater just off the master suite to a fully equipped kitchen.
His most famous role was Dr. Christopher Turk in the NBC/ABC TV comedy/drama "Scrubs," and he has also starred in the film and subsequent television series "Clueless." He co-hosts iHeart's "Fake Doctors, Real Friends" podcast with his “Scrubs” co-star and friend Zach Braff. Jessica Simpson's former assistant is Cobb, 45, a Texan.
In 1980, the house was built and recently renovated in a quiet, hidden cul-de-sac. It holds four custom estates. With a rock-accented structure boasting six bedrooms and a matching number of baths in over 5,000 square feet of living space and integrated audio and security systems, the driveway leads to a three-car garage attached to the house.
A striking entryway leads to a double-height foyer adorned with dangling light fixtures and decorative tile floors. There is also a formal dining room with windows and mirrors on the main level, as well as a living room with a fireplace and French doors that lead out to the backyard. A wood-beamed ceiling adorns the family room, which has a lounging area and additional seating around the bay window.
An al fresco dining area is accessible from a breakfast nook with glass sliders, and the kitchen features heated floors, an eat-in island, custom Poggenpohl cabinets, and a wide range of appliances, including electric and gas ranges, three ovens, Sub-Zero refrigerator, wine fridge, and coffee maker. According to Rich Report there's also an ensuite bedroom and a room with built-in cabinetry and mirrors that could be used as a gym.
On the upper floor is a master retreat with a spa-inspired bath equipped with dual vanities, a dressing area, a soaking tub, and a steam shower. Within the spacious walk-in closet is the aforementioned speakeasy-style library/theater, complete with a wet bar and popcorn machine. On this floor are three more bedrooms - one with a private bath, and the others sharing a Jack and Jill bathroom.
A black-bottom natural rock pool and separate Jacuzzi are located outdoors in the wooded grounds, along with a sports court, a bath with shower, and a fire pit. The grounds feature 5 acres of private gardens.
