For $6.5 million, Sherry and Joel Mallin have decided to move out of their longtime Pound Ridge home, a sprawling compound boasting numerous residences, a 70-piece sculpture park and an art barn/gallery, which has been in the family for more than four decades.

The 13.5-acre Buckthorn property is a premier site for hosting large groups, extended families or arty-farty weekend parties, thanks to the eight structures spread over it, making it a great place to host large groups, extended families and/or arty-farty parties.

The main house, built in 1933, is almost 5,000 square feet in size and it has four bedrooms and five bathrooms. Hardwood floors, arched doorways, sweeping center staircases, and hardwood moldings all contribute to the beauty of the building.

Throughout the entire property, you will find the couple's impressive art collection, which consists of pieces by Dan Graham, Sol LeWitt, Joel Shapiro and Anish Kapoor, at every turn, including the personal outdoor sculpture garden, where works by Sol LeWitt, Joel Shapiro and Anish Kapoor can be found.

It is true that the artworks are not part of the sale of the property, but a large number of them, in fact, are offered for sale as part of the sale of the property. This is either the case or it will be the case.

The Mallins plan to sell about 1,000 pieces from their collection to Sotheby's over the next few years, according to Rich Report. At the auction, it is estimated that the collection will fetch approximately $50 million, based on the estimates provided by auction experts.
