The Aerial BVI Spa Review

An island in the Caribbean with a menu that makes you feel good.
This 43-acre private island retreat in the British Virgin Islands – just a few miles from the island owned by Richard Branson – is topped by a fortress-like mansion with cinematic sea views. A Netflix location scout is sure to be interested in this lair soon. You'll also find a beach with white sand, an outdoor gym, hammocks, swing sets, and a yoga pavilion, as you'd expect from a Caribbean hideaway. Getting here isn't easy - some choose to fly in by helicopter, while others take speed boats from Virgin Gouda or Beef Island.

What happened in the past
Britnie Turner, a 30-something American entrepreneur and philanthropist who became a multi-millionaire in a decade thanks to a lucrative career in real estate, opened this island resort in spring 2021. Her island is a hub for personal transformation as well as funding humanitarian missions to places like Ukraine. Spend time here in one of three ways: on a Getaway Week, when individual rooms can be booked, on one of Turner's holistic retreats or Elevate Summits (prices start at US$25,000 per night), or exclusively on the island (prices start at US$25,000).
How does the wellness concept work?
Having a place that does not lead you into temptation is one of the most effective ways to upgrade one's health. The positive effects of an intensive regime can last only a short time. Despite its name, Aerial BVI is not a rehab, according to Turner. She is passionate about sharing her secrets to success, so be prepared to say grace before meals - but don't expect an evangelical boot camp. If you don't care for educational speaker sessions (and prayers), you can immerse yourself in a pick-and-mix health-and-wellness experience in a most idyllic setting.

What makes Aerial BVI different?
We are not a spa hotel at Aerial BVI. There is only one massage room by the beach where guests can book CBD and superfood treatments. Instead of relying on transformation to happen through poking and prodding, every detail of the island environment has been carefully designed to help people become their best self, including nature-based activities like trail running, hiking, stand-up paddle boarding, sailing and beach yoga to provide ‘stealth health’ hits.

Where to stay?
Each of the 13 rustic-chic rooms has whitewashed walls and ceiling fans, hammock chairs for idling, and colorful finds Turner gathered in markets around Mexico, Morocco, and Indonesia. Additionally, there is a communal lounge and dining room with a wrap-around terrace that opens onto the stargazing decks and outdoors showers.
Aerial BVI is particularly popular among Americans because of its proximity to the United States. Guests will likely include some millionaires, but the resort also offers instalment plans, which makes it more accessible. The obsession with living life to the fullest and leveling up their brains and bodies is likely to unite them all. There is a Giving Shop (instead of a gift shop) where guests can purchase Aerial-branded clothes and power word bracelets that benefit Turner's charitable foundation, Aerial Recovery.
If you're looking to avoid medical interventions and the holier-than-thou vibe found in some high-end spas, Rich Reports considers this a place to go. (The antithesis, you might say, of nearby Necker Island, you'll return from this Caribbean castaway island with a fresh perspective and feeling healthier than ever).
