Stylish Modern Farmhouse Snagged by Married Film Producer & Talent Agent
Tripp Vinson and Adriana Alberghetti have had a pretty impressive career in the entertainment industry over the years. His credits include "Baywatch," "The Guardian," "The Number 23," "Red Dawn," and "Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters," while hers include "Baywatch," "The Guardian" and "The Number 23." "The Hangover" was loosely based on Vinson's wild and crazy bachelor party in Las Vegas.
Their joint success has led to a Los Angeles residence for the husband-and-wife team. In 2017, they paid a speck over $5 million for trendy farmhouse-style digs in Studio City that had been rebuilt from the ground up. In a bidding war, the couple paid almost $40,000 over the asking price for the house.
With almost 6,000 square feet of open-plan living space, the charcoal-hued and wood-sided building is situated on a nearly quarter-acre corner parcel of land that is secured by security cameras. It features rustic hardwood floors and high ceilings throughout, as well as an integrated Crestron/Sonos home automation system and two attached garages.
After passing the driveway and manicured lawn, a walkway empties onto a small front porch. On one side, a double-height foyer leads to the formal dining room and on the other, a living room with a fireplace. A family room with a fireplace flanked by bookshelves and pocketing glass doors leads out to a covered terrace warmed by a fireplace, while a gourmet kitchen boasts dual islands, top-notch stainless appliances, a workstation, and a banquette-built breakfast nook.
A movie theater and guest bedroom with bath are also featured on the main level. An oversized master retreat with fireplace, seating area, walk-in closet, and an additional four ensuite bedrooms can be found upstairs. Luxurious baths come with dual vanities, soaking tubs, and glass-encased showers, and there's a hallway desk and bookshelf-lined den as well. Several spots in the backyard are ideal for al fresco lounging and entertaining, and a detached building houses a gym.
