Sneakerheads Are Already Disappointed by Nike and Tiffany's Collab

Some shoe collectors aren't impressed by the mostly black pair, which may not carry Tiffany branding.
After images of the shoes leaked last week, Nike and Tiffany & Co. officially announced their sneaker collaboration.
A retail price of $400 is expected for the Nike Air Force 1 Low Tiffany & Co. "1837," sneaker, according to Rich Report.
While there is a unique crossover between the two brands, the upcoming collaboration has not been met with overwhelming applause, with one Twitter user calling the shoe lazy.

On both sides of the shoe are Tiffany blue leather Swoosh branding, as seen in unofficial images circulating on social media. There is also Tiffany branding on a silver heel tab and on the tongue tag of the shoe.
Many pointed out that the sneakers lack Tiffany branding and would be better presented as a fully blue shoe without overpowering black.

As part of Nike's collaboration with Diamond Supply Co., Nike released a Tiffany-inspired SB Dunk Low in 2005 known as the "Diamond" SB Dunk. An inspiration for the sneaker was Tiffany & Co. jewelry boxes with teal and black color schemes.
As a result of this collaboration, the line between luxury and streetwear is further blurred. In addition to collaborating with some of the biggest luxury brands, such as Sacai and Dior, Nike is one of the biggest athletic brands. In resale marketplaces, these rarer sneakers can fetch even more than a typical Nike shoe at retail.
