Turkey's Vicem Yachts has introduced its 82 Flybridge, a new flagship in its Classic series. Classic's fourth flybridge model, the 82, was delivered in late January. A cold-molded, strip-planked mahogany construction is used with epoxy.

This is a social and entertaining bar, according to Vicem. On the main deck, which lacks a galley, this intent is evident. From the cockpit to the salon, the main deck has seating for the family, friends, and their friends. In addition to the seating at the bow, there are sun pads for four and forward-facing seats for two.

Vicem Classic 82 Flybridge's main deck offers seating for sunset cruises with friends and family. Several more people can sit on the flybridge and the foredeck, which also has sun pads.

Two L-shaped settees are arranged face-to-face in the cockpit. There are stairs to the flybridge just forward of the wooden table to port, which makes space for a longer table to starboard. In the salon, just before the double sliding doors, there is another settee that can accommodate at least two people. A wooden coffee table sits beside an L-shaped settee. There is a Garmin-equipped helm station to starboard, as well as seating for five to the port.

Flybridge design continues on the 82's top deck. The port side has a two-person, aft-facing sunpad with a U-shaped sofa and two tables; the starboard side has a sink, wine chiller, barbecue grill, a seat for one guest, and the secondary helm station with seats for a skipper and mate.

Featuring Bosch and Isotherm appliances, the Vicem Classic 82 Flybridge has a galley-down layout. The galley is located to port, approximately equidistant from each stateroom.

Three en suite staterooms are located belowdecks for overnight accommodations. There are hanging-locker stowages, a settee with additional stowage, and a vanity in the full-beam master stateroom amidships. On the centerline of the bed is a king-size berth. There is a queen-size berth in each stateroom on either side of the forepeak and a VIP cabin on the port side.

Under decks, the galley is also to port and centrally located amid the staterooms, enhancing the sense of community on board. An Isotherm ice maker is included along with a dishwasher, a full-size refrigerator, a microwave/oven, a four-burner electric cooktop, all by Bosch.

Owners can seek respite from the crowd on the Classic 82 Flybridge, which seats 12 to 14 guests. The foredeck features this seating for two with panoramic views all around.

Twin 900 hp Volvo Penta D13 diesel engines power the Classic 82 Flybridge. The top hop speed of Vicem Yachts' yacht is 17.8 knots, and the cruising speed is 15 knots. According to reports, the range is 1,100 nautical miles at 9 knots with a 10 percent fuel reserve.
