Renovated 1950s Hideaway Purchased By Cigarettes After Sex Star

Despite Greg Gonzalez's Texas birth and the fact that he is the founder and lead singer of the ambient pop band Cigarettes After Sex, he didn't achieve success overnight. Instead, it came slowly but surely by way of social media by way of an ethereal little ditty called “Nothing’s Gonna Hurt You Baby” which had a 108 million view count as of 2012.
This song was posted on YouTube in 2012, and eventually grew a large fan base that included Kylie Jenner, and who attends their sold-out live performances all over the world, from the United States to India.
His fame has grown within a matter of years, and Gonzalez has recently purchased contemporary digs in Hollywood Hills' Laurel Canyon neighborhood, which he recently purchased for $2.7 million, after he moved from relative obscurity to fame.
A house that was originally built in the 1950s and then renovated and expanded over the years was purchased last fall by the singer for $400,000. The house had a value of $400,000 above the asking price of $2.3 million and was sold for $400,000 over its asking price.
In this all-white stucco home located on a wooded lot on a compact property, there are four bedrooms and three bathrooms, which are spread over two levels. Featuring a total of 2,800 square feet of light-filled living space, the two-storey house is furnished with both hardwood flooring and ceramic tile flooring. In addition to the grand entry foyer flanked by a curving staircase, there is also a formal living room and dining room.
There is a two-way fireplace connecting the living room to the dining room, and the kitchen is adjacent to the dining room with marble countertops, an eat-in island, and stainless steel appliances.
There are a lot of amenities and features in this home, including a movie theater with surround sound and a master retreat upstairs, as well as a sitting area, a walk-in closet, and a spa-like bathroom that has two vanity sinks, a soaking tub, and a glass-enclosed shower that is situated on the top floor.
On top of that, on the upper level of the house, you will find an ensuite bedroom, which spills out to a wooden deck that leads down to a fenced backyard with a pool and spa flanked by a pool house and leads to the fenced backyard. In addition to having a driveway and a covered parking lot, the house has plenty of space for entertaining and relaxing outside.
It should be noted that Gonzalez also owns a luxurious townhouse-like property in the hills that he purchased back in 2017 for a price of approximately $1.2 million, so he has several properties to choose from.
