Pharaoh's Land - Travel Back in Time

For budding historians, this expedition is a must as this year marks 100 years since Tutankhamun's tomb was discovered.

The year is 1922, and we are in Egypt's Valley of the Kings. A tomb entrance has been uncovered by Howard Carter and his sponsor, Lord Carnarvon, along with other archeologists. Carnarvon appears to ask Carter what he can see in the interior chambers of the tomb, to which Carter replies, "wonderful things."
Over the next decade, thousands of artifacts were uncovered, including the more than 3,000-year-old mummy and solid-gold coffin of Tutankhamun (aka King Tut).
The boy king's tomb was discovered 100 years ago this year, so this 10-night expedition is a must for budding historians. Explore the best of Egypt while uncovering its ancient history on your own Egyptology mission. Take a hot air balloon ride across the vast desert or free fall over the pyramids in a helicopter if you are brave enough.

Then set sail for a relaxing cruise along the mythical Nile river, after which you'll have exclusive private viewings at the brand-new Grand Egyptian Museum just outside of Cairo.
