With optional 2,345-hp MTU diesel engines, the Pershing 80 we got aboard in 2011 cruised at 30 knots.

Luxury yacht owners seeking performance-driven luxury will find the Pershing 80 tickles their fancy. MTU diesel engines with surface drives provided 2,030 or 2,345 horsepower for the 80. Bringing the salon doors under the deck, as well as opening the retractable roof, created the feeling of a mega-sized center console.

In the belowdecks, you could choose between a three- or four-stateroom layout. As well as a king-sized berth amidships in the master stateroom, both boats had a full-beam forward stateroom.

The brokerage market contained eight Pershing 80s ranging in price from $1.9 million to $2.5 million at the time of publication.
