Paris’ Trendiest Neighborhood Gets a Cinematic New Luxury Hotel

In the popular Saint-Germain neighborhood of Paris, the 109-key hotel provides panoramic views of the city skyline from its 109 guest rooms.

The number of luxury hotels in Paris has just increased by one as a result of this new addition. In the trendy neighborhood of Saint-Germain, which is located in the sixth arrondissement, the hotel Dames des Arts has just opened its doors.‍

It is no secret that the hotel created by Raphael Navot looks like something from a French New Wave film. As the winner of Maison & Objet’s Designer of the Year award for 2023, this hotel has the look of something from an old French movie. Despite its decidedly modern appearance, it is apparent from its design that it draws inspiration from the 1950s as well. There is an opulent black oak floor that graces the hotel’s lobby, which is complemented by plush black and beige furniture that creates an atmosphere that is distinctly noir. There is a particular mood created by the lighting, which contributes to an atmosphere that would have been enjoyed by Blanche Dubois if she had been in the room at the time.

In the hotel, you will find 109 rooms, some with cinematic décor while others have chic, minimalist décor that appeals to design lovers. There are also four different types of suites in the hotel, each with its own unique design. There is a signature ashtray included in each room based on Jean-Luc Godard’s concept of ashtrays. As part of the hotel, body shop products and diptyque bath products are also available for your enjoyment. One of the four suites in the hotel is the penthouse, which boasts 254 square feet. A king-sized bedroom and an attached bathroom with a view of the city’s famous landmarks are located in this suite, which features a private balcony overlooking the city’s famous landmarks.

“Hotel Dame Des Arts was always conceived to be more than just a hotel,” said Imshan Jamal, the co-owner of the hospitality company EQ Group and co-owner of Hotel Dame Des Arts. “The history of Paris’s famous Rive Gauche was the curation of the arts and so our privileged location in its heart, footsteps away from the Seine, Notre Dame and Boulevard St Germain, meant we had to do something special.”

A rooftop bar on the property offers a 360 degree view of the Parisian skyline, including the Eiffel Tower and the gold dome of the Invalides as well as accommodations, along with the hotel’s accommodations. In addition to the breakfast, lunch, and dinner that the hotel serves, you can also go downstairs to the hotel’s ground floor restaurant, which has both indoor and outdoor dining areas. Would you like steak fries with your meal? A room starts at $330 per night.
