Do you want to own the ultimate artist’s flat, perhaps even one owned by an internationally renowned master? In the Chelsea neighborhood of New York, the Loft 25 building has a high-floor condo that will make you feel like you’re living in a world of art.

Ai Weiwei, an international contemporary artist, documentarian, and activist, owns the 1,400-square-foot minimalist-minded pied-à-terre with its minimalistic design.

In addition to sculptures, photographs, and public works, Ai also expressed strong disapproval of the current Chinese government through his works, which explored Chinese culture while expressing a strong disapproval of the government itself.

As a result of his provocative work, the government bulldozed his Shanghai studio in 2011, and he was imprisoned for 81 days the same year.

Several pieces of his work are on display in the Portugal-based artist's Manhattan crash pad, including "Dancers," a black-and-white painting from 1983 that reminded one of Henri Matisse and another of Keith Haring.

There are also three sculptures from him called "Marble Chairs" reminiscent of the Chinese chairs he grew up with. The artworks will not be included in the price of the apartment, as they are not included in the sale price!

Despite the fact that the apartment is arguably somewhat small for someone of Ai's stature, it has 12-foot ceilings that provide a spacious feeling and plenty of space to stimulate and relax the creative mind while keeping it comfortable.

There are so many things to love about this space, and some of the most notable ones are its clean lines, hardwood floors, and large south-facing windows that offer a good view of the London Terrace apartments.

Although the apartment has only one bedroom, there are two full bathrooms inside, as well as a small alcove off the living room that can be used as a meditation space or a home office space. Furthermore, the apartment also comes with a washer and dryer in the unit. (Don't laugh, suburbanites, this is a big deal in a Manhattan apartment.)

As well as Liebherr refrigerators and freezers, Bosch dishwashers, stovetops, and ovens, it has Liebherr refrigerators and freezers, Bosch dishwashers, stovetops, and ovens.

In 1912, Loft 25 was built with 79 units, and it has a 24-hour doorman, a lobby with a double-height lounge, a courtyard with a reflecting pool at the back of the building, a screening/conference room, a gym and a rooftop deck that overlooks the river. In addition to the private storage room, there is also a cellar which serves as a private storage room.

This art world of pedigreed pad was acquired by Ai in 2008 for a sum of about $1.7 million. In the present day, Kyle Blackmon is offering the pad to be sold at Compass for a price of $2 million.
