They may have bought the house with the intention of redoing it and using it as their permanent residence. Maybe it was always going to be flipped and they were just putting the finishing touches on it.

Regardless of what the truth is, Josh Altman and Heather Altman, the married real estate partners who bought a magnificent Bel Air estate barely a year ago, have already begun looking for buyers for the property. A current listing for the property has a price tag of $14 million, which represents a nearly $8 million increase over the previous listing.

According to Rich Report, the apartment was built in 2018 and from the look of things, it might have undergone a few minor design adjustments during the couple's short time in possession. There are two parcels of this property, one on one side of a private street in lower Bel Air and one on the other, located in the foothills of the Santa Monica Mountains.

The property comprises a three-story main house, a guesthouse with its own kitchen, a three-car garage with staff quarters, a gym, and an office on the ground floor. Approximately 14,500 square feet of living space contains six bedrooms and eight baths.

There is a gated driveway that leads to the guesthouse and continues into a porte-cochere before terminating at a motorcourt adjacent to the guesthouse. This home includes a gourmet kitchen equipped with top-of-the-line stainless appliances, an island with an eat-in area and a breakfast nook. Moreover, there are three patios that offer stunning views of the canyon as well as the greenbelt. Floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors flow out to three patios that display views of the canyon and the greenbelt.

In addition to the formal living and dining rooms, the house has a large screening room and a master bedroom retreat with a deep walk-in closet and a separate bathroom, while the property is also equipped with a 70-foot lap pool and spa, a sundeck and an outdoor cabana with a barbecue grill. The listing also describes the property as having a vineyard attached to it.

It is worth noting that the longtime "Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles" cast members along with the Bel Air house that is for sale, still maintain a stylish Beverly Hills Flats home that they purchased in 2018 for $6.7 million that has since been extensively renovated. A speck under $12 million was offered as a price range for the property back in summer 2021, however it has since been removed from the market due to the lack of interest.

Apparently, there is a listing for this property in Douglas Elliman. It is owned by Josh Altman and Heather Altman, both of whom have lived in this property for many years.
