There are no emissions from the Aura 51 Smart Electric because it is powered by two lithium battery banks. Approximately two dozen electric yachts will be joining the Dream fleet in Italy beginning in April. The first twelve will be sailing catamarans from Dufour, part of the Fountaine Pajot Group, while the remaining ten will be monohull sailing yachts from the Fountaine Pajot Group.

"By supporting and partnering with research and development in electric yachts, we can continue to make sailing more accessible and environmentally friendly," Loïc Bonnet, CEO and founder of Dream Yacht Group, stated in a press release. Our charter clients support our mission to protect our planet and oceans by being environmentally conscious.

Does this type of boat have the ability to make a significant impact on the environment? The company Fountaine Pajot claims that only 20 percent of the carbon footprint of the boats is caused by their production. The use of boats accounts for 80 percent of the revenue.
