In Delray Beach, Florida, there is so much more to experience than just pretty beaches.

This art-filled district is filled with murals and sculptures, as well as eclectic galleries, whimsical shops, and unique eateries. Located on Artist Alley, the 15,000-square-foot Arts Warehouse is worth a visit. Gallery spaces, exhibitions, and studios are housed in the warehouse. You won't believe you're in Florida when you stroll through the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens. Through its fascinating exhibits, the museum pays homage to Japanese culture and art. Don't miss the impressive bonsai collection (not to mention the tranquil waterfalls, ponds, and forests) in the lush, landscaped gardens.

Take a walk along the Delray Beach Art Trail to see the city's best art. There are over 40 pieces of art along the route, including a number of colorful murals. You can always head inside one of the many galleries if you need a break from the heat.

Lunch and brunch are served at Lulu's Café & Cocktails, a trendy eatery that looks right out of SoHo. Breakfast burritos, croissant sandwiches, salads, bowls, charcuterie boards, and chicken wings can all be found here. Make sure to stop by the jungle leaf-patterned bar for a handcrafted cocktail or two. 

Deck 84 offers waterfront dining overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway, if that's what you're looking for. You can enjoy delicious seafood like blackened shrimp Caesar salad, seared swordfish, fish and chips, and miso-glazed salmon by arriving early.

Chef Suzanne Perrotto owns Rose's Daughter, an Italian restaurant that serves dinner only. From freshly made pizzas to pasta platters, there are plenty of options to choose from.

When you're craving seafood, look no further than Mussel Beach, where mussels are imported daily from Prince Edward Island. You can enjoy a romantic dinner at Joseph's Wine Bar and Cafe, where the owner, Joseph, awaits your arrival. There are over 2,000 bottles of wine available on the restaurant's wine list, which will appeal to oenophiles in particular.
