As private restaurants opened around the country before the pandemic, they offered exclusive access to the well-heeled. But now social clubs are offering something their predecessors were missing: NFTs.

Shō Club just announced its plans to become the first NFT-based club and restaurant in San Francisco, with details of what flashing a non-fungible token will enable. There will be a total of 3,265 memberships available, priced from $7,500 for the lowest option to $300,000 for the highest. You will be able to purchase the membership using normal old dollars, but it will take the form of an NFT.

In addition to Earth ($7,500), Water ($15,000) and Fire ($300,000), there are three tiers with increasing perks. You will have access to amenities including a 24/7 concierge, a members-only restaurant menu and educational programming with the Earth membership, of which 2,678 are available for sale. In addition to the above features, the Water tier, which offers 327 memberships, also includes courtesy car access, invitations to quarterly membership events and a monthly curated omakase members dinner. You'll get all of the above, a trip to Japan, revenue sharing, and ownership benefits if you purchase the Fire level, of which only 10 memberships are available.
