Joy represents the tenth Hull in Van Der Valk's series.

A 75-foot flybridge motoryacht Joy has been delivered to a Mediterranean client by Van Der Valk Shipyard in the Netherlands. Since the design was introduced eight years ago, the yard has produced 10 flybridge hulls of this size.

The propulsion system is composed of a trio of 600-horsepower Volvo Penta IPS800 engines controlled by joysticks. The builder claims they can cruise at 19.2 knots and reach 24 knots at top speed.

A Seakeeper 26 gyroscope stabilizes the boat at anchor and while underway. A RINA classification for recreational craft was also requested by the yacht's owner, in order to enhance the yacht's resale value.

Throughout the yacht, Pennsylvanian walnut and Zebrano woods create a contemporary aesthetic. A U-shaped settee is diagonally opposite the dinette seating. Van Der Valk

Can there be more than one person sleeping on board? Four ensuite staterooms are available on the yacht, including a master suite with a full beam. The crew has access to two cabins as well.
