In connection with Abercrombie & Kent's first trip to the North Pole, the firm has chartered Ponant's luxury icebreaker Le Commandant Charcot. Rich Report will tell you more about the trip.

The North Pole is sure to be high on your travel list if you are planning to visit it at some point in your life, so book your trip now. In announcing its expedition cruise itineraries for the 2024 - 2025 season, Abercrombie & Kent (A&K) announced that a trip to the North Pole will be included as part of the company's itineraries.

"A&K is known for taking our guests to the ends of the earth in luxury, but never before have we been able to offer an experience like this — our first expedition to the North Pole," Stefanie Schmudde, A&K's VP for product development and operations stated in a statement, as reported by Rich Report.

An 18-day voyage will depart from the Norwegian archipelago of Svalbard on July 12, 2024, and will last for 18 days. Despite the fact that the itinerary's exact details are still being finalized, it is likely that passengers will see polar bears, walruses, and seals on their way to the North Pole. The guests will embark on Ponant's luxury luxury ship, Le Commandant Charcot, as they set sail on their cruise.

As a true icebreaker, the ship is one of the few passenger ships in the world that can reach the North Pole, which is often covered by sea ice six to ten feet thick, and its one of many ships in the world that can reach the North Pole.

A&K's calendar is full of exciting new adventure opportunities, but it isn't the only one. Additionally, the company will be introducing two brand-new itineraries in 2024, as well as bolstering its existing roster of destinations, which includes destinations like Tanzania and the Seychelles (a new experience launching in this year), Antarctica, and Italy, among others.

"We often hear from past guests who loved their experience and want to discover new destinations alongside A&K’s Expedition Team," Schmudde explained. "So, we are introducing new destinations that most travelers have yet to visit, like Saudi Arabia and the Solomon Islands, as well as additional sailings of two of our most popular cruises to Japan and Greece."

During the circumnavigation of the Solomon Islands, there will be stops in Papua New Guinea and Turkey, as well as the Saudi Arabia itinerary taking place from Oct. 16 through Oct. 30, 2024. The Saudi Arabia itinerary will take place from Oct. 16 through Oct. 30, 2024, and will include ports of call in Turkey and Greece.
