A lot of people go to Malibu to see celebrities, but others go for hiking and wine tasting in the Santa Monica Mountains in order to enjoy the beaches and celebrity spots. The only place you can stay in the iconic Southern California city if you want to experience all of the above in one vacation is Calamigos Ranch, and that is the only place you have to go!

It is a 250-acre ranch that is made up of bungalows, cottages, and estate rooms that are decorated in calming pastels and earth tones that incorporate Malibu-made home accessories. There are six single bungalows at the resort, each of which measures 600 square feet. They have been recently renovated, and include a private outdoor patio and garden, an oversized bathroom with both an indoor and an outdoor shower, as well as a freestanding bathtub, living areas, and a luxurious king-size bed.

The hotel has three pools available to guests, including a serene, adults-only pool with a Jacuzzi, as well as a lively all-ages pool area furnished with cabanas and bar service for guests of all ages. As of this past summer, The House Bar at the Ranch Club opened next to the fire pits for daily happy hour where guests can enjoy craft cocktails, local wines, and craft beer, while the Ranch Club restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus that take into account local ingredients. In addition to being one of the area's most popular wedding venues, the estate has also been featured in many TV shows and films, including the recent Netflix hit Love Is Blind and You.

Even guests are recommended to make reservations at Malibu Cafe in Los Angeles because of the live music, seasonal cocktails, wine tastings, barbecue plates, lawn games, and a lake with paddleboats that draw the Los Angeles crowd.

Calamigos Beach Club, however, is perhaps one of the best features of all. In addition to the parking (an excellent beachside amenity in this area), the beach club also features an ocean-view restaurant and lounge on the Pacific Coast Highway, a volleyball court, and beachfront access, where guests can relax under an umbrella and enjoy food and drink while enjoying the Pacific Ocean or arrange for a paddleboard lesson.
