According to the builder, the MTB Sixzero will have a top speed of 33 knots thanks to twin 1,000 horsepower Volvo Penta IPS1350 diesels.

The Breedendam Shipyard has sold and begun construction on Hull No. 1 of the 64-foot MTB Sixzero design.

Since 1976, the yard has been in operation. As of today, MTBs are available in a wide range of sizes and styles, including convertibles, wheelhouses, and flybridges. The MTB Fourzero and Sixzero were designed by Guido de Groot.

He stated in a press release that he had an idea of how a Breedendam should look. The goal was to create something unique on the market, which stood out on its own, but was still recognizable as a Breedendam vessel.

There is a master stateroom amidships, a VIP stateroom forward, and a third stateroom between them. In the engine room, behind the master, are crew quarters for two.

Breedendam also constructs stylish pleasure cruisers based on classic lifeboat designs since 1982.
