It was announced this week that Eve Air Mobility will expand its partnership to develop software for its Urban Air Traffic Management system (UATM). To automate the operation of vertiports, the developer of eVTOL aircraft and vertiport infrastructure specialist Bluenest signed a letter of intent.

UATM software, which Eve announced on November 29, will be designed to work with any eVTOL aircraft for applications such as air taxis. With the hope of being commercially ready in 2026, the company is developing a four-passenger design.

Globalvia's infrastructure group Bluenest is based in Spain. Now it will join several existing partners in collaborating with Eve on developing operational models for advanced air mobility suited to the needs of various regions and aircraft types.

In addition to enhancing operational performance and safety, Eve's software will be used to integrate aircraft with urban air mobility systems, as well as prepare for the eventual integration of unmanned vehicles.
