A good dose of '90s nostalgia is infused into the timepiece's 281 hand-made components.

A new timepiece honoring Space Jam: A New Legacy has been released by Kross Studio ahead of the movie's premiere.

In a tribute to both Looney Tunes and basketball, the Swiss watchmaker has designed a high-complication tourbillon that showcases its technical prowess and playful nostalgia.

Space Jam motifs and complex mechanics are showcased in the 45mm titanium case with sapphire crystal dome of the limited-edition watch. The unique timepiece is made of 281 handmade components, enough to turn Wile E. Coyote's head.

Designed to look like a basketball cage, the skeletonized tourbillon cage highlights the regulator beneath. An hour wheel in blue is emblazoned with Bugs Bunny to Marvin the Martian, representing the "dream team" from Loony Tunes. Hands, on the other hand, have been attached to a peripheral display mechanism that rotates around the tourbillon in a full 360 degree rotation.

Incorporating a single oversized mainspring barrel, the KS 7000 caliber movement has a five-day power reserve and is manually wound at 3Hz. Using the back window of the timepiece, you can view the movement. A push-button and the D-ring crown are available here for winding the watch and setting the time.

An orange rubber strap mimics the color and texture of a basketball, while deep blue calfskin leather mimics the color and texture of the wristwatch's face.

A kinetic sculpture of a basketball is housed inside the presentation box of the Space Jam tourbillon. With a simple twist of the b-ball, the timepiece reveals a special spot where it can be stored. It is mounted on a pedestal that includes the Looney Tunes squad.

A Star Wars Death Star tourbillon was unveiled by Kross Design earlier this year, which is priced at $150,000.

This Space Jam collector set costs $100,000, just like its predecessor. Limited to 10, it's a pretty penny.
