Rich Report identifies the best islands in Asia as tropical paradises with soft sand beaches and wildlife-rich waters.

In Thailand, Phuket is a tourist-friendly city with over 30 stunning beaches, and in the Philippines, Boracay is a popular holiday destination. Boracay's four-mile length is dominated by the aptly named White Beach, which is dotted with restaurants and lodgings for visitors looking for easy access to ideal snorkeling and diving. Guests staying in the Shangri-La Boracay can take advantage of the resort's dive center, which has a private beachfront. Boracay is a tropical paradise with azure waters, powdery white sand, abundant flora and fauna, and diverse marine life.

A blissful beachfront experience can be found on Palawan, in the Philippines, and Bali, in Indonesia. Bali was described as the "most amazing island ever."

Choosing among them is made easier by the fact that less than a sixth are inhabited, but even those that do welcome visitors remain blissfully private. On any of these atolls, every snorkeler and diver will find a prime spot to enjoy the incredible scenery from the Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi, which sits on its own private island.
