An Open-Air Cinema and 5 Pools on a 213-foot Hybrid Superyacht

Is it ever enough to have one pool?

A new superyacht concept called See has been unveiled by Gill Schmid Design.

With a total length of 213 feet, the hybrid vessel was developed with the assistance of Lateral Naval Architects.

Interiors of the vessel total 1,670 GT and aim to be much more casual than typical superyachts. The studio suggests you think of it as Transformers in an architectural context, eschewing typical formal saloons and dining rooms and replacing them with open-plan spaces and convertible spaces.‍

As well as six guest cabins, the boat has an owner’s suite, which spans the entire 40-foot beam, and accommodation for up to 17 crew members.

There are plenty of communal tables and a lounge at See, which is perfect for entertaining. It also has an outdoor BBQ area and sushi counter that doubles as a raw bar for wannabe master chefs. Under sail, you’ll be able to grow your own fruit and vegetables in hydroponic tanks, along with a fermentation chamber, mushroom lab, and fermentation chambers, so you’ll get the freshest produce possible.

Besides its luxurious amenities, See offers a piece of resistance that rivals a five-star hotel on the main deck, the glass-bottom infinity pool. Featuring sun pads and a jacuzzi, it’s the largest of the vessel’s five pools. There’s also a shaded pool lounge and bar here that’s the perfect spot for cocktails.

The foredeck lounge is another standout. With its retractable glass wall, it can be converted from an open-air cinema to an oceanfront terrace in a matter of seconds. In addition to the creature comforts, the vessel is packed with toys and tenders and a spa and wellness area, which includes a sauna, steam room, gym, and another infinity pool.

In addition, See is a superyacht that is efficient and has a top speed of 16 knots and a maximum range of 3,750 nautical miles. The 213-footer has been fitted with an E-Hybrid propulsion system by Lateral. As well as being equipped with batteries, she’s also capable of cruising silently for up to three hours at anchor.
