A Yacht Built For Distance Is Outer Reef Yachts' 650

Simulated planking on the yacht's hull gives it a classic appearance.
Designed for blue water, the Outer Reef 650 is a long-range cruiser. Below the waterline, the hull is constructed of fiberglass with PVC coring above. A backbone is provided by full-length longitudinal stringers and athwartships stringers.
Depending on the wind conditions, the yacht can cruise at speeds between 9 and 15.5 knots with a top speed of 22 knots.
All three staterooms on the 650 have en suite heads; the master is amidships, the VIP is forward and the guest stateroom is portside.
The Outer Reef 650 was available for $1,595,000 to $1,795,000 at the time of publication.

"On three sides, the cherry-wood salon is flooded with natural light through the watertight rear door. In front of the L-shaped settee is a stunning wood table with four folding leaves that lie flush with the top. Two bird's-eye maple inserts are visible when the table is closed. The galley countertops are made of black granite."
