It is said that Marcy Carsey spent just over $1 million in this traditional East Coast-style residence in Pacific Palisades in the mid-1990s, just a few years before she was inducted into the Television Hall of Fame for her work on hit sitcoms such as “Mork & Mindy,” “Happy Days,” and “Soap,” despite the fact that she is believed to have never lived there, as she paid just over $1 million for this traditional East Coast-style residence.

There has been a close relative living in the house most of the last 28 years, and it has been mainly occupied by this person.

According to Rich Report, the retired Hollywood producer, now 78, has decided to market this particular property for sale for $4.3 million - a substantial but not surprising leap above what he paid for the home just three decades ago when it was purchased by him.

A gray-shingled structure, which was constructed in the late 1980s and features five bedrooms and five baths, will be available to the buyer for that price. The two-level home is incredibly spacious with hardwood floors, built-ins, skylights and high wood beam ceilings throughout. The home is designed with hardwood floors, built-ins and skylights to compliment the two levels of living space.

A nearly quarter-acre parcel of land, tucked behind gates, has a fenced-in yard fronting a brick walkway that leads up to a covered entryway that is surrounded by a small, fenced-in yard. A glass-lined entryway leads to a formal dining room on one side with an integrated buffet, as well as a living room on the other side with a fireplace tucked between built-in benches on each side.

It features a center island, stainless appliances, an ample pantry, a breakfast nook that flows into a fireside family room with French doors opening to the backyard, and the kitchen is equipped with a central island, stainless appliances and a pantry. Moreover, the main floor also offers a flexible space that can be used both as a bedroom and an office.

Four additional bedrooms can be found on the upper level of the home, including the master bedroom, which has a pitched ceiling and features a fireplace, walk-in closet, and blue-tiled bath which features both a bath tub and shower all located beneath a pitched ceiling.

There is a brick-clad balcony overlooking a spacious private backyard, which boasts a heated swimming pool and spa, flanked by a wood lounging deck, along with a detached two-car garage and a spacious motorcourt that can be used as an al fresco dining space.

There are at least eleven other multimillion-dollar homes owned by Carsey besides the Pacific Palisades property, including one in Malibu's Encinal Bluffs, right next door to Kim Kardashian's new vacation spot, which are also worth $100 million.

In addition to the Pacific Palisades property, Carsey owns 11 more multimillion-dollar houses in Southern California, from Brentwood to Montecito. Since the late 1990s, instead of living in a modest apartment in L.A., she has been living in a large estate in the posh Brentwood Park area of the city.
